Zusammenfassung

NEWKD invites applications for a Community Employment (CE) Supervisor in the Rehabilitation Outreach Scheme at the Tralee base. The role is a 39-hour week position with a one-year rolling contract subject to funding renewal.

You will support recovering participants to build personal, social and work-related skills, enabling fuller participation in community and work life. The successful candidate will supervise the CE team, coordinate trainings and activities, and liaise with service users,

Qualifikationen

• 3 years minimum supervisory/people management experience.
• Experience in Administration, Project Management and/or Training is desirable.

Job Description

Community Employment (CE) Supervisor - Rehabilitation Outreach Scheme - 39 hours per week – Tralee Base - One year rolling contract subject to funding being renewed.

The role of the CE Supervisor, under the direction of NEWKD, as the CE Sponsoring Organisation, is to support recovering drug rehabilitation participants to develop their personal, social and work-related skills to enable them to participate fully in community and working life.

Work Experience

• Previous supervisory and people management experience relevant to the post (3 years minimum)
• Previous experience in Administration, Project Management and/or Training or other relevant positions; and
• Experience of addiction issues and working with service users towards rehabilitation.

• Capable of directing, motivating, coaching and mentoring CE scheme participants

• Ability to plan and develop a schedule of Trainings/Activities
• Conflict resolution skills
• Ability to support individuals on a one to one basis including those with complex needs
• Ability to work under the direction of the Sponsoring Organisation for the effective implementation of the CE Programme in line with all areas of the CE Procedures Manual.

Qualifications

• Major Award at 3rd Level of NFQ Level 6 or higher, preferably in Business/Financial Administration, Training, Human Resources, Project Management.
• ICT skills essential (e.g. MS Office)
• Award in Addiction Studies is desirable
