Job summary

Bon Secours Hospital Cork is seeking to recruit Staff Nurse for Cath lab/Interventional Radiology. This is a full-time permanent position with training and mentoring provided, plus funding for further education.

The successful applicant will take responsibility on each shift for nursing care of allocated patients and work with the nursing team and multidisciplinary colleagues to maintain the highest standards in patient care. A day shift with On-Call Rota is required.

Qualifications

• Registered in the General Division of the live register of nurses kept by the NMBI
• Must have at least 3 years recent experience in an acute setting
• 1-2 years' experience in a procedure room or similar area is desirable
• This role is primarily Day shift, however you will be required to work On-Call Rota

Responsibilities

• Take responsibility on each shift for the nursing care of allocated patients
• Work within the nursing team and assist colleagues as necessary in providing and maintaining high standards of patient care
• Work as part of the multidisciplinary team
