Qualifications

• Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups.

Responsibilities

• This is a developmental opportunity, no experience necessary.
• Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
• The Catering Assistants will work as part of the catering team producing meals, nutritious snacks and baked goods across the whole client base of the Centres.
• The Catering Assistants will report to the Head of Catering on a day-to-day basis and to the CE Supervisor regarding working conditions, holidays, etc.
• Key Areas of work include producing meals for meals on wheels services, school age children, clubs and groups, and catering for meetings and events.
• Other tasks include preparing dining areas, cleaning, and delivering meals where appropriate.
