Catering Assistant – Navan

We are hiring a Catering Assistant in Navan to join a busy healthcare facility. This is a rewarding frontline role where you’ll support patient care through nutritious meal preparation and delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve meals & drinks to patients and staff.
  • Deliver meals to wards and assist patients during mealtimes.
  • Keep kitchens, equipment, and utensils clean and hygienic.
  • Follow HACCP food safety and infection control procedures.
  • Stock ward pantries and rotate food supplies correctly.
  • Work with catering and ward teams to ensure smooth service.
Requirements
  • 6–12 months’ catering or kitchen experience (healthcare experience an advantage).
  • Knowledge of HACCP food safety standards.
  • Legal right to work in Ireland & Garda Vetting clearance.
  • Ability to provide 5 years of work references.
  • Team player, flexible, good communicator.
  • Full Driver's License (Desirable).
Salary & Benefits
  • €17.53/hour, with Double Pay on Sundays & Bank Holidays.
