Eligibility: 21 years or older and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for at least 1 year, or 18 years or older for certain disadvantaged groups. Eligibility must be verified by the Department.

This is a developmental opportunity; no experience is necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.

Duties

• Ensure the preparation of meals to the highest standard by supporting the roles of the kitchen team.
• Assist with labelling.
• Liaise with and support the drivers to ensure meals are dispatched as per meal plan efficiently and timely.
• Ensure food safety, hygiene and quality policies and procedures are strictly adhered to.
• Clean the kitchen, including washing kitchen appliances, work surfaces, floors and walls.
• Load and unload the dishwasher.
