The role involves reading drawings, measuring, cutting and assembling timber components, and installing doors, skirting boards and other fittings. Minimum 2 years’ hands-on carpentry experience and strong safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ hands-on carpentry experience.
• Ability to follow technical instructions and collaborate effectively with others.
• Basic understanding of site safety regulations and PPE usage.
• Physically fit with manual skills suitable for construction tasks.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine job requirements.
• Measure, cut, shape, drill and assemble timber structures using hand and power tools.
• Install wooden components: doors, skirting, frames, decking, furniture and shop fronts.
• Check accuracy and alignment with squares, rules and levels.
• Perform maintenance and minor repairs on woodwork as needed.
• Work in a team while following site safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications to determine job requirements
• Select, measure, cut, shape, drill, and assemble timber structures and fittings in accordance with plans using hand and power tools
• Install and fix wooden components such as doors, skirting boards, counters, partitions, decking, frames, shop fronts, furniture, and wooden templates
• Check accuracy and alignment of work using squares, rules, spirit levels, and other measuring tools
• Carry out maintenance and minor repairs on wooden structures and fittings as required
• Work as part of a team while adhering to site safety protocols

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years’ hands-on carpentry experience
• Ability to follow technical instructions and collaborate effectively with others
• Basic understanding of site safety regulations and PPE usage
• Physically fit with manual skills suitable for construction tasks

Annual Remuneration

• Annual Remuneration: €49,379.20
• Pay rate: € 23.74 per hour
