Job summary

Cornerstone in Sligo is offering an entry-level developmental opportunity with accredited training to support your career in facilities maintenance. The role requires no previous experience and will involve learning on the job while assisting with building upkeep and general duties.

You will participate in painting, decoration, cleaning, equipment checks, and support for meetings, with responsibilities extending to gardening and yard tasks when needed.

Responsibilities

• General maintenance to include painting and decoration, repairs to interior and exterior of building etc
• General cleaning duties
• To ensure that tools, equipment and machinery are in good working order prior to use and make arrangements with your line Manager should they need repairing/servicing
• To assist with routine testing of fire alarm systems
• Source maintenance supplies at competitive prices
• To prepare rooms for meeting, interviews etc.
• Ensure that corridors and all access/egress routes are kept free from obstructions at all times
• Provide gardening duties when gardener is unavailable
• Provide Yard and store duties when yard person is unavailable
