Job summary

Connected Health Group Limited is seeking a Homecare Service Manager to oversee homecare delivery across West Cavan, Monaghan, Longford, Leitrim and Mayo. You’ll report to the Managing Director and serve as the region’s senior point of accountability for compliance, quality and performance.

This hands-on role requires ownership: building strong local teams, safeguarding continuity, and acting as the trusted link between frontline delivery and the broader organisation.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years in a senior operational leadership role within homecare or regulated health & social care
• Proven track record leading multi-site teams and driving service quality
• Experience managing governance, safeguarding and incident/complaint processes
• Strong people leadership skills and ability to mentor managers and coordinators
• HSE home care contract knowledge and SOP timelines

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, SOPs and service standards
• Oversee client onboarding, care delivery, service activation and regional capacity
• Provide senior oversight of quality, safeguarding, incidents, complaints and audit compliance
• Lead corrective actions and HSE reporting when required
• Lead and support Client Care Managers, Supervisors and Admin teams
• Monitor workforce training, performance, recruitment and compliance with HR
• Represent the region at management level and report trends to the MD

As Homecare Service Manager, you will hold operational management for homecare delivery across West Cavan, Monaghan, Longford, Leitrim and Mayo - reporting directly to the Managing Director and acting as the region's senior point of accountability for compliance, quality and performance.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements, SOPs and service standards.
• Oversee client onboarding, care delivery, service activation and regional capacity.
• Provide senior oversight of quality, safeguarding, incidents, complaints and audit compliance.
• Lead corrective actions and HSE reporting where required.
• Lead and support Client Care Managers, Supervisors, Coordinators and Admin teams.
• Ensure workforce training, performance, recruitment and compliance in partnership with HR.
• Provide operational support and contingency cover during periods of increased demand or absence.
• Monitor regional KPIs, including care hours, staffing, training, quality and service performance.
• Lead performance reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify and manage operational risks, trends and unmet demand.
• Work collaboratively with HR, Training, IT, Quality and Finance to support regional delivery.
• Represent the region at management level and report key operational trends to the Managing Director.

Essential Criteria

3-5+ years' experience in a senior operational leadership role within homecare, domiciliary care or a regulated health & social care service

Proven track record leading multi-site teams and driving service quality within a compliance-led environment

QQI Level 6 (Supervisory Management) or equivalent leadership qualification

Deep working knowledge of HSE home support contract requirements, service specifications and SOP timelines

Experience managing governance, safeguarding and incident/complaint processes

Strong people leadership skills, with experience mentoring Client Care Managers and coordination teams

Full, clean driving licence with flexibility to travel extensively across the region
