Western Care Association is seeking a Care Assistant for CROSSMOLINA Day Service, Ballina Road, Crossmolina, Co. Mayo. This developmental role offers accredited training to support your career in health and social care within the day service setting.

You will join an established team, learn to support service users to achieve their full potential, and participate in daily operations including transport, leisure activities, and personal care as required, under supervision.

Qualifications

• No experience required; accredited training will be provided.
• Able to learn from and support service users; promote inclusion.
• Willingness to assist with personal care and day-to-day service operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and support to service users as required.
• Assist staff to enable service users to achieve their full potential and participate in day-to-day activities.
• Contribute to leisure activities, transport duties, escort duties, cleaning and upkeep of the service.
