Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Health Care Assistant (HCA) to provide high-quality, person-centred care to our clients. This role involves supporting clients with daily living activities, personal care, emotional well-being, and social engagement, helping them to live safely and comfortably.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care, including bathing, toileting, dressing, grooming, and oral hygiene.
• Assist with mobility, transfers, and use of mobility aids, ensuring safety and dignity.
• Support clients during meals, considering dietary requirements and preferences.
• Promote independence and assist with clients’ emotional, social, and recreational needs.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment, including bedrooms and communal areas.
• Observe and report changes in clients’ health, or well-being to senior staff.
• Contribute to care plans and maintain accurate records.
• Uphold clients’ privacy, dignity, and rights at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver consistent, high-quality care.
