Job summary

AXA XL in Dublin is looking for a Specialist Capital Actuary to support the Head of Capital Modelling. The role involves maintaining and developing internal capital models that comply with AXA Group standards.

The ideal candidate will have a strong actuarial background, experience in P&C insurance, and knowledge of Solvency II. The position offers extensive opportunities for professional growth and flexible working arrangements.

Qualifications

• Nearly or newly qualified actuary with experience in P&C insurance.
• High numeracy and analytical skills with a good academic record.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven experience in capital modelling concepts.

Responsibilities

• Support development of approved Solvency II internal model.
• Manage parameterisation processes for timely model use.
• Conduct performance testing on model outputs.
