Job summary

Solventum in Athlone, Ireland, is seeking a Calibration Technician to support the facility calibration program, ensuring equipment is calibrated to schedule and compliant with specifications. You will work in a team to maintain calibration systems and drive improvements.

The role requires Leaving Certificate, Calibration Fundamentals training, Level 6 technical discipline, and experience with medical devices or GMP environments; strong analytical and Excel skills; and the ability to prepare

Qualifications

• Education includes Leaving Certificate or equivalent and calibration fundamentals.
• Minimum Level 6 in a technical discipline is required.
• Experience in a Medical Device or GMP industry is desirable.
• Exposure to validation, Lean and Six Sigma is desirable.
• Ability to interact with varied equipment and follow EHS standards.

Responsibilities

• Support calibration system ownership and day-to-day activities.
• Maintain records and ensure records are audit ready at all times.
• Assist in drafting procedures and work instructions for compliance.
• Coordinate calibration contractors and ensure on-time completion.
• Support data collection and analysis to identify process improvements.
• Troubleshoot calibration issues and support process validation activities.
