QT Technologies Ireland Limited is seeking a CAD engineer in the CPU division to help develop and maintain industry-leading design and verification flows, environments and tools for next-generation processors. The role requires a Bachelor's in CS or ECE, strong Python, C/C++, Linux experience and familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and distributed development, with excellent English communication.

As a CAD engineer in the CPU division, you will take part in developing and maintaining industry-leading design and verification flow, environment and tools that will help us to develop the next generation industry-leading processors.

Minimum Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering
• Proven experience in Python programming languages
• Knowledge of C/C++ programming languagesGood working knowledge of Linux operating systems

We would love to see:

• Problem Solving and Debugging Skills
• Experience in GIT version control and CI/CD
• Familiarity with chip design process – advantage
• Knowledge in writing prompts and skills for AI agents
• Good communication skills in English and ability to provide support in geographically distributed development environment

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 6+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 5+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field and 4+ years of Hardware Engineering, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related work experience.
