Senior CoE SAP Cybersecurity Consultant

What you'll build

As part of SAP’s Center of Expertise, you will help customers plan, design, build, and run secure SAP landscapes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading workshops on SAP security architecture: Single Sign-On, secure network design, encryption, and system hardening
  • Acting as a trusted advisor, influencing clients on SAP security best practices
  • Identifying and communicating risks and compliance gaps
  • Supporting audit and compliance initiatives
  • Contributing to the evolution of SAP’s support portfolio
  • Expanding your expertise across the SAP security domain
  • Managing day-to-day operational support
What you'll bring

We seek a proactive consultant with strong SAP Basis skills and a passion for security. You should be comfortable working across NetWeaver ABAP, Java, HANA, and SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP).

Our customers rely on us to secure their hybrid and cloud landscapes. Your role will be critical in ensuring their data remains protected in a rapidly evolving digital environment.

Experience Requirements
  • 4–5 years of hands‑on SAP Basis experience
  • Proven ability to learn quickly and deliver impactful results
  • A mentoring mindset and collaborative approach
Technical Skills
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across NetWeaver ABAP, Java, and SAP BTP
  • Experience with secure architecture design: network topology, DMZ, firewalls, WAF
  • Familiarity with security technologies:
    • IPS, IAS, Kerberos/SPNEGO, OAuth, SAML, SSL/TLS, SSH, X.509
    • Encryption and digital signatures
  • Programming experience in one of the following would be advantageous:
    • Java, Python, or ABAP (preferred)
  • Honours degree in IT, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong customer focus and teamwork orientation
