Job summary

Kilkenny and Carlow ETB - Training Services invites applications for a fixed term, part-time teaching post (16 hours per week) at Coláiste Mhuire. The successful candidate will deliver high-quality teaching and learning, work within a supportive school community and contribute to curriculum delivery.

Applicants should meet Teaching Council requirements; postgraduate SEN/LS qualifications are advantageous or in progress. Closing date is 21/09/2026.

Qualifications

It is an advantage to have a post graduate qualification in SEN/LS or be applying for it.
Applicants must meet Teaching Council of Ireland requirements for the advertised subject(s).
Final year applicants may apply, subject to completing results and registration.

Responsibilities

Teaching and learning is the core focus of Kilkenny and Carlow ETB and we are committed to recruiting high quality teachers.
Demonstrate professional knowledge and pedagogy across the curriculum.
Plan, prepare and deliver lessons aligned to syllabi and teaching standards.
Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
