Role: Business Development & Delivery Lead

Location: Ireland (Hybrid / Remote; travel within Ireland & Europe)

Level: Sr-Level | Individual Contributor | Target-Based | Client-Facing

Roles & Responsibilities
  • Responsible for driving AMTSOL's business and delivery growth in Ireland and wider Europe, focusing on key Pharma & Biotech clients.
  • Drive business development initiatives while acting as a full-spectrum delivery professional, combining client acquisition, account management, and recruitment to ensure end-to-end delivery success and long-term client satisfaction.
  • Lead business development initiatives while owning the full recruitment cycle, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and onboarding specialised engineering and digital manufacturing professionals (automation, MES, CSV/CQV, IT/OT, and more).
  • Develop and maintain client account and country-level market intelligence, identifying new projects, hiring trends, and key decision-makers.
  • Build and manage strong client relationships at site and regional levels; act as a trusted point of contact for delivery, renewals, and escalations.
  • Lead positioning and brand awareness activities within assigned accounts and manufacturing sites.
  • Drive pre-qualification of AMTSOL for upcoming opportunities through RFI/RFP participation, proposal submissions, and candidate delivery performance.
  • Ensure all client and candidate activities are accurately tracked in the CRM, maintaining visibility across opportunities, interviews, and placements.
  • Own and grow assigned client accounts, ensuring repeat business, timely renewals, and achievement of delivery and sales targets.
  • Contribute to pipeline forecasting, weekly reporting, and performance metrics (targets/KPIs) for account and delivery outcomes.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years' experience in sales, account management, or a business development role, preferably within the pharmaceutical/life sciences/engineering domain.
  • Proven track record in penetrating and growing client accounts and delivering full-cycle recruitment in a technical or regulated environment.
  • Ability to consult and present credibly with senior stakeholders in large, matrix-structured multinational organizations.
  • Strong understanding of project execution practices and workforce delivery within the life sciences manufacturing industry.
  • Familiarity with the Life Sciences IT/OT landscape, including key systems, platforms, and service areas (automation, MES, CSV, CQV, etc.).
  • Self-driven, target-orientated, and highly accountable individual who can operate independently with minimal supervision.
  • Excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills; able to represent AMTSOL confidently with clients and candidates alike.
  • Able to coordinate and manage multiple parallel delivery and recruitment activities across accounts.
  • Comfortable working remotely with cross-functional teams across regions; must be flexible to travel across Ireland and Europe for client meetings.
  • Fluent in English (spoken & written); knowledge of any European language is a plus.
  • Freedom of movement within Europe is essential.
