Job description

Barden is thrilled to have partnered with the Program Director of a global energy company to identify a Business Analyst to join their team. This role entails analysing and documenting system and business processes for the multiple workstreams within the business. This role will offer the right talent to work with business analytical approaches and support the group as they drive towards the achievement of their technology strategy. This is an initial 6 month contract to begin with strong potential of extension.

ABOUT THE ROLE:
  • Analyse and assess business processes across multiple workstreams such as IT, Legal, Finance and others.
  • Collaborate with teams to document current workflows and understand the reasoning behind existing processes.
  • Develop high-level process documentation spanning key business areas, including finance, HR, operations, marketing, risk and legal, product, data, and technology.
  • Evaluate the impact of proposed changes on existing processes and clearly communicate findings.
  • Design, document, and refine new business processes to enhance operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Engage stakeholders across diverse business functions and global locations to gain alignment on process enhancements.
  • Build strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders to advocate for and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Manage change initiatives, guiding teams through the adoption of new strategies and evolving requirements.
  • Promote agility by helping the organization understand and achieve the benefits of more adaptive processes.
  • Play a key role in new vendor selection and the management of new vendor onboarding.
  • Focus on their existing SharePoint environment and provide support for data migration and enrichment as they transition to new systems.
ABOUT THE PERSON:
  • Up to 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Consultant.
  • Holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management Information Systems, or a related discipline.
  • Proven expertise in process analysis, including the ability to document and interpret complex business workflows.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a track record of effectively engaging cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience with vendor selection and engagement.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.

Note: The company operates with a hybrid work approach, with two days a week in its Cork office.
