Job description

Due to ongoing expansion of services, a family‑run private homecare provider dedicated to delivering excellence in care for older people and individuals with disabilities has an exciting opportunity.

As Branch Manager, the successful candidates will work closely with senior management and will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operations of a home support region, ensuring the provision of high quality, compassionate and personalised care to clients in their own homes. This will include supervising and supporting a team of caregivers, maintaining regulatory compliance, co‑ordinating client care plans and ensuring the overall smooth functioning of the service.

To be considered for the role, the following criteria apply:
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, social care, work or related field.
  • Proven experience in a managerial or manager role within a homecare agency or similar healthcare setting.
  • In‑depth knowledge of homecare regulations, policies and best practices.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and problem‑solving abilities.
  • Proficient in using computer systems and software for care planning, documentation and administrative tasks.
  • Familiarity with financial management principles and budgeting.
  • Compassionate, empathetic, and committed to providing high‑quality care to clients.
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Full driver’s licence and access to own transport.
  • Eligible to work in Ireland.
