Job summary

EDGE SIGNS in Cork requires a Bodyshop Technician with at least 2 years' experience performing vinyl wraps and related bodywork. You will prepare vehicle surfaces, interpret specifications and apply graphics to a high-quality finish within a 39-hour week.

The successful candidate will inspect completed work for quality, install exterior components as needed, and maintain a safe workshop with proper tools and equipment. Salary is €36,605 per annum, with permit requirements for non-EEA nationals.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vehicle surfaces for vinyl application, including cleaning, masking and surface finishing.

• Install and refit exterior vehicle components as required during the wrapping process.

Job Description

Bodyshop Technician required to work at Edge Signs Ltd, Unit 3, John Harrington Industrial Estate, Tramore Road, Cork. The successful candidate must have at least 2 years' experience in a similar role. Duties will include preparing vehicle surfaces for vinyl application, including cleaning, masking and surface finishing; interpreting job specifications, drawings and instructions; applying vinyl wraps and graphic films to vehicles to a high-quality professional finish; installing and refitting exterior vehicle components as required during the wrapping process; inspecting completed work to ensure quality standards are met; and maintaining tools, equipment and a safe working environment. Salary: €36,605 per annum. Hours: 39 hours per week.
