Job summary

Eli Lilly and Company in Ireland is seeking candidates for a two-year postgraduate TS/MS program in biotech. The role focuses on cell culture (upstream) and/or protein purification (downstream), with exposure to scale-up facilities and manufacturing plant. Aimed at developing strong data-driven decision making.

The program runs 4 days on site and 1 day work-from-home, with a 39-hour week and a salary of €49,000–€53,550 per year. Full-time with potential for bonus and extensive benefits.

Qualifications

• MSc or PhD in biochemistry, cell biology, biotechnology, microbiology or related field.
• Proven ability to work productively in a lab environment.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with cell culture or purification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply DOE principles to scale-down models and process control.
• Provide technical support for existing manufacturing processes.
• Assist in development, commercialization and tech transfer of new processes.
• Prepare scientific reports and present learnings.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Rotate across TS/MS areas for broad exposure.
