Job summary

UNSW's Kirby Institute in Sydney is seeking a Research Fellow (Biostatistician) to design, analyse and report on linked health data projects. You will lead statistical analyses of national datasets in collaboration with investigators and stakeholders, applying advanced methods and contributing to publications.

Qualifications

• PhD in a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
• High-level skills in STATA, R, SAS, PySpark and Python.
• Experience with linked health data and output of statistical analysis plans.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research with limited supervision.
• Track record of publications and conference presentations.
• Ability to develop advanced data management and statistical analysis methods.

Responsibilities

• Design, document, analyse and report on linked and surveillance health data research.
• Lead statistical analysis of national datasets in collaboration with investigators.
• Apply advanced analytical methods and contribute to publications and reports.
• Present findings to diverse audiences and collaborate across disciplines.
