Job summary

PE Global (UK) is seeking a contract Project Manager to lead the management and execution of projects across the full life cycle in a Biopharmaceutical facility. You will drive safety, schedule and budget adherence while complying with engineering practices and regulatory codes.

The role involves coordinating with Global Engineering, EHS and Procurement, managing multi-disciplinary teams, and ensuring successful tech transfers, plant optimizations, and validations in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical/Mechanical/Automation/Process Engineering required.
• Minimum of 5 years project management experience across the life cycle in a pharmaceutical environment.
• Full lifecycle experience from design through to C&Q and handover; understands project management process.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for meeting key project deliverables for safety, financial management, schedule and scope across projects.
• Ensure compliance with good engineering practices, policies, regulations and codes.
• Coordinate with Global Engineering/Global EHS/Global Procurement to align project deliverables.
• Adhere to project stage-gate principles for lifecycle management.
• Develop and present scope, cost and budgets for governance approval; lead and mentor project teams.
• Manage start-up and commissioning of equipment and systems; coordinate validation activities as required.
• Complete project close-out per Stage Gate process; manage procurement specifications and vendor relations.
• Identify and manage project risks; generate mitigation actions to protect schedule and budget.
