Job summary

Anderson McQue in Dublin West is seeking an Electrical Day Technician to join the Maintenance and Calibration team on a major biopharmaceutical site. The role focuses on executing preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure maximum uptime of utilities, plant and equipment while complying with GMP and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Electrical experience, 2 years minimum and good understanding of the basic fundamentals of the various utilities systems.
• Hands-on troubleshooting of pumps, HVAC, boilers, steam systems, chillers and CIP systems.
• Knowledge of GMP engineering systems and SCADA; ability to read electrical drawings.
• Experience with a Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) environment and permits to work.
• Able to work with a contract team and external contractors; maintain documentation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on utilities equipment as scheduled.
• Troubleshoot utilities equipment problems as directed by site supervisors.
• Complete site documentation before and after tasks; update maintenance plans and SOPs.
• Coordinate with contract team, site engineering and vendors to ensure reliability.
• Participate in training, risk assessments and audits; ensure GMP and EHS compliance.
• Maintain CMMS data, review maintenance programmes, and implement improvements for uptime.
