Job summary

Oxford Global Resources in Tralee, Ireland, is seeking an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to lead installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of biologics manufacturing equipment on the production line. You will conduct root cause analyses, use data tools, prepare investigations, and ensure equipment performance.

The role requires 5–8 years’ biologics/pharma experience and GMP know-how, with aseptic filling and lyophilization familiarity.

Qualifications

  • 5–8 years’ experience in biologics/pharmaceutical manufacturing or GMP environments.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Experience with aseptic filling and lyophilization processes.
  • Strong collaboration, communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with washer and autoclave is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Support and guide technical associates/engineering technicians
  • Act as the key technical problem solver when equipment issues arise on the line
  • Carry out root cause analysis and investigate equipment/process issues
  • Be digitally savvy and capable of using data and digital tools to investigate problems
  • Prepare reports and document investigations
  • Oversee equipment performance and ensure equipment operates effectively
  • Be hands-on with the running and troubleshooting of equipment.
