Job summary

Espresso 44 in Galway is seeking a full-time Barista to join our busy coffee shop. The role is ideal for someone with barista experience in a fast-paced environment and who values friendly, outgoing service.

The ideal candidate will have barista experience, be punctual, and have a positive attitude with excellent customer service. Duties include making coffee, operating the till, restocking, cleaning, and assisting customers.

Qualifications

• Barista experience in a busy coffee shop or similar environment.
• Punctual and reliable with good time management.
• Positive attitude and ability to get on with others.
• Well organized with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
• Excellent customer service and communication with customers.
• Capable of working early mornings.

Responsibilities

• Make and serve coffee beverages to standard.
• Operate the till and handle cash transactions.
• Restock products and maintain shop cleanliness.
• Ensure a welcoming, tidy cafe environment for customers.
• Provide outstanding customer service and answer general queries.

Espresso 44 are currently recruiting for a full time Barista to join our team in our coffee shop, Galway.

The role is ideal for a candidate with experience in a busy work environment and who has barista experience.

We are looking for someone who is friendly, outgoing and has a passion for excellent customer service.

The role will include but will not be limited to:

• Making & serving coffee
• Operating the till
• Restocking products in the coffee shop
• General cleaning of the coffee shop
• Display excellent customer service & deal with general customer queries

The ideal candidate will:

• Have barista experience
• Be punctual
• Have a positive attitude and get on well with others
• Be organised
• Have excellent customer service
• Can work early mornings
• Have an ability to work in a fast paced environment
• Have a keen interest and understanding of coffee

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €14.15-€14.50 per hour
