A local bakery located in Abbeyfeale, Ireland, is seeking an experienced baker to prepare and bake tarts, crumbles, and scones while maintaining quality standards and hygienic practices. The ideal candidate will have skills in teamwork and problem-solving, ensuring efficient production. The position requires experience in following recipes and using bakery equipment.

Bakers prepare dough for tarts/crumbles and scone mixtures. They follow all the processes from receipt and storage of raw materials, preparation of raw materials, measurement and mixing of ingredients into dough, bakery production method. Tasks: Weigh ingredients according to recipe; mix ingredients using hand or machine to obtain the required consistency; roll and cut pastry, stretch, fill and glaze pastry, mix ingredients for tarts, crumbles, and scones. Package frozen bakery products in cases and store in freezer. Check quality of products, clean food machinery, ensure correct use of bakery equipment, follow hygienic procedures during food processing. Ability to work as a team member and to be able to resolve problems and ability to read and follow recipes.
