Job summary

DAA plc at Dublin Airport is seeking a cross-skilled Baggage Technician to maintain and service the baggage handling systems and control rooms, including extensive conveyor and X-ray assets. The role operates on a 24/7 shift basis with 12-hour shifts in a four-week cycle, reporting to the Asset Management Team Lead.

You will join a team of multi-skilled technicians, developing the necessary skills to excel as a highly skilled technician within a busy airport environment.

Qualifications

• Cross-skilled baggage technician with ability to work in a 24/7 shift pattern.
• Experience with planned, reactive and emergency maintenance on baggage handling systems is desirable.
• Ability to operate within a team of multi-skilled technicians.

Responsibilities

• Provide planned, reactive and emergency maintenance on BHS assets.
• Ensure safe and efficient airport operations.
• Collaborate with Asset Management Team Lead and multi-skilled team.
