Job summary

Dangan-Group- in Carrigtwohill, Co. Cork is seeking a reliable B Licence Driver / General Operative with a valid forklift licence to join our team.

You will support production and maintenance on site, keep walkways clear, drive the company van for deliveries and assist with various on-site tasks in a fast-paced environment. Full training will be provided and a strong work ethic is essential.

Qualifications

Full, clean Category B driving licence - essential.
Valid forklift licence - essential.
MEWP licence - desirable but not essential.
Proactive and positive attitude; willing to help colleagues.

Responsibilities

Apply, maintain and replace safety tape and hazard lines to designate walkways, storage areas and workspaces.
Assist Production Manager and Team Leaders in keeping production floor clear of clutter, waste and hazards.
Assist with spill cleanup and other incidents as required.
Prepare and paint internal and external building areas, machinery and equipment as needed.
Support maintenance with minor repairs and general maintenance duties.
Carry out routine cleaning duties inside and outside the facility including pressure washing, weed removal and waste clearance.
Drive company van or car to collect parts and deliver products or equipment to clients or nearby locations.
Assist with production work across different teams and work with other departments.
Ensure Health and Safety policies are followed at all times.
