Job summary

Northern Trust seeks an experienced cloud engineer to design and manage scalable Azure infrastructure. You will lead architecture, implement IaC with Terraform/ARM Templates, and ensure secure, scalable deployments within AKS and related services.

The role requires hands-on CI/CD, DevOps practices, and collaboration with engineering teams. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential for success in a fast-paced financial environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience designing, implementing, and managing Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Expertise in Azure Compute, Networking, Storage, Security, and Monitoring.
• Strong experience with IaC tools such as Terraform and ARM Templates.
• Proven experience setting up CI/CD pipelines for cloud deployments.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in CS, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance cloud infrastructure solutions using Azure best practices.
• Lead design and implementation of cloud infrastructure projects balancing security, scalability, and efficiency.
• Hands-on experience with scalable log ingestion and data pipelines across security platforms.
• Drive adoption of IaC frameworks and best practices.
