Job summary

Xapply in Ireland is seeking a Software Data Engineer to contribute to a modern data platform for manufacturing operations. You will design and build scalable streaming and batch data pipelines that connect plant systems and enable data-driven decision-making.

You will work with AWS technologies, Kafka, Flink or Spark Streaming, lakehouse architectures and Infrastructure as Code, taking ownership from design to deployment and ongoing maintenance.

Qualifications

• Experience with AWS technologies.
• Experience designing and building streaming and batch data pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Develop a modern data platform supporting manufacturing operations across a global industrial environment.
• Design and build scalable streaming and batch data pipelines.
• Work with Kafka, Flink or Spark Streaming, lakehouse architectures, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Take ownership of solutions from design through deployment, optimization, monitoring and maintenance.
• Collaborate with international teams to modernize legacy data solutions and contribute to digital transformation initiatives.
• Impact the efficiency, reliability and scalability of critical manufacturing data systems.
