Job summary

EOS IT Solutions is seeking an AV Field Technician to join our EMEA deployment team. You’ll install, configure, and decommission audio-visual systems at client sites across Europe, ensuring installations meet the highest standards and align with SLAs.

You’ll troubleshoot issues, perform room audits, document outcomes, and collaborate with EOS teams to deliver services in commercial environments. Travel across Europe is a regular requirement, and a customer-focused approach is essential.

Responsibilities

• Document hardware failures and manage break/fix and RMAs.

The Role

As an AV Field Technician, you’ll be a key member of our EMEA deployment team, responsible for the installation, configuration, and decommissioning of audio-visual systems at client sites across the region. You’ll ensure technology is installed to the highest standards, troubleshoot issues, and deliver exceptional service in fast-paced environments. Installations will primarily take place in commercial and corporate settings.

Please note: This role requires frequent travel across Europe.

What You’ll Do

• Install and de-install AV systems across client sites in commercial environments
• Configure endpoints and supporting infrastructure
• Conduct room audits to ensure optimal technology performance for various meeting room sizes
• Perform preventative maintenance to keep equipment and spaces ready for use
• Identify and resolve hardware faults and system failures
• Complete post-installation assessments and documentation
• Carry out on-site user acceptance testing and software upgrades
• Act as a technical escalation point, providing solutions for ongoing issues
• Collaborate with EOS teams to deliver AV services in line with SLAs and client expectations
• Communicate project updates and reports to management
• Document hardware failures and manage break/fix and RMA requests

What You’ll Need To Succeed

• Proven experience in AV/video conferencing system installation
• Practical, hands-on experience using tools and working with cables
• Willingness and ability to travel extensively across the region
• Professional, efficient, and customer-focused approach
• Ability to work under pressure and make confident, independent decisions
• Passion for technical development and continuous learning
• Reliable and responsible, with the ability to work independently or collaboratively
