Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and development of automation systems, focusing on integrating machine vision and AI technologies into industrial applications.
• Work closely with both software and mechanical engineering teams to integrate machine vision systems with automation hardware, ensuring optimal functionality.
• Contribute to the development of AI algorithms and machine vision systems for tasks such as object detection, quality control, and real‑time decision‑making.
• Build and test prototypes of automation systems, including both mechanical and software components, to ensure system reliability and performance in real‑world conditions.
• Troubleshoot and refine automation systems, incorporating feedback and testing results to enhance efficiency and scalability.
• Assist in the deployment of automation systems at client sites and provide ongoing support and system optimisation based on operational feedback.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in automation, AI, and machine vision technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve existing systems and explore new solutions.

Required Qualifications:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automation Engineering, Process Engineering or a related field.
• Understanding of automation systems and industrial applications.
• Familiarity with machine vision and AI technologies, such as OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch, is a plus.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, or Java.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical design and prototyping tools (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) is desirable.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross‑functional teams.
