Job summary

Ipsen Dublin's Automation (Control Systems) Engineer will support process automation hardware/software and electrical installations with integrated control systems. You will manage projects, troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis to drive continuous improvement.

The role requires expertise in PLC/SCADA, HMI systems, and building management interfaces, with a focus on maintaining GxP lifecycle compliance and site safety at Ipsen Dublin.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Automation & Controls or Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs/SCADA and batch systems in life sciences.
• Knowledge of GAMP5, FDA 21 CFR Part 11 and EU Annex 11 is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day automation support for API manufacturing facilities.
• Lead/control system upgrades, changes and improvements.
• Perform root cause analysis, incident investigations and validation activities.
