Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months recent experience working as a Social Care Worker.
• Eligible to register with CORU as a Social Care Worker.

Responsibilities

• Delivers support according to the person’s PCP and care plan.
• Places the needs of the person supported as the key focus in all activities.

Skills

Knowledge of current legislation and regulations

Understanding of the needs and rights of individuals with autism

Ability to work on own initiative

Experience in support/care plans and PCP’s

Fluent English and excellent communication skills

Full, clean drivers license (manual)

Education

QQI level 7 Award in Social Care or Applied Social Care/Studies/Practice
