Job summary

A leading global accountancy practice is seeking an Audit Manager and an Audit Assistant Manager to join their teams in Sligo. In this hybrid role, the successful candidates will manage client portfolios, deliver high quality audits, and contribute to business development. Candidates must have at least 3-5 years PQE in practice and be qualified accountants. Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years PQE in practice for Audit Manager.
  • Minimum 3 years PQE in practice for Audit Assistant Manager.
  • Audit experience within practice is essential.
  • Ability to report directly to a Partner and draft reports for review.

  • Manage a portfolio of clients delivering high quality audits.
  • Develop existing client relationships and new business opportunities.
  • Promote the firm's values and maintain an ethical stance.
  • Work to deadlines and within budgets on each assignment.

Audit Senior and Audit Manager – Sligo

Term: Full Time Permanent

Location: Hybrid – Sligo (3 days in office)

Our client, a leading global accountancy practice are seeking to recruit an Audit Manager and an Audit Assistant Manager to join their teams in Sligo. The role will offer successful candidates an opportunity to gain exposure to a broad selection of clients from small owner managed entities to larger companies.

The role will involve
  • Managing a portfolio of clients and delivering high quality audits;
  • Developing existing client relationships and contributing to the development of new business opportunities;
  • Promoting the firm’s values and beliefs, demonstrating integrity, and maintaining an ethical stance;
  • Responsible for working to deadlines and within budgets on each assignment;
  • Provide high-level technical support to clients;
  • Manage billing, collections, and profitability per assignment; and
  • Mentoring junior members of the team.
Requirements
  • Audit Manager – Minimum 5 years PQE in practice
  • Audit Assistant Manager – Minimum 3 years PQE in practice
  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CPA)
  • Audit experience within practice
  • Good attention to detail and time management skills
  • Strong technical knowledge of auditing and financial reporting standards
  • Ability to work to meet specific business deadlines
  • Proactive in approach to client service and business development
  • Strong IT skillset, including experience with audit and accounting software applications
  • Thrive when working as part of a team.
  • Experience of being responsible for a portfolio of clients
  • Have reported directly to a Partner and have drafted reports to Partner for review.
