Job summary

Eurofins Biopharma Product Testing Ireland in Dungarvan invites applications for an Associate Scientist to join the Molecular Cell Biology Team. The role focuses on quality control testing of pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical products to ensure compliance with predefined quality and safety standards.

Key duties include routine/non-routine analyses, meticulous test record keeping, participation in continuous improvement, adherence to GMP, and providing training and cover as needed.

Qualifications

• Degree in molecular cell biology or related scientific discipline.
• At least 2 years experience with Cell Based Potency assays in GMP environment.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent documentation skills.
• Good understanding of GMP.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and non-routine analysis with accuracy and efficiency.
• Complete test records on time, ensuring compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Identify opportunities for quality and service improvement; contribute to continuous improvement projects.
• Adhere to GMP guidelines and internal quality standards; ensure all activities are documented and traceable.
• Participate in Root Cause Analysis and prepare Exception reports.
• Gain proficiency in assigned tests/areas of testing; maintain training records.
• Provide training to colleagues in techniques/tests where competency is proven.
• Provide cover for colleagues as required.
• Participate in weekend rota, overtime, and On-Call/Call-out schedules.
