Mace is hiring across the North West of Ireland, Mayo, Galway, Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal. We are seeking candidates with experience in wastewater, water or civil infrastructure projects to lead safe, high‑quality programme delivery and complex stakeholder engagement.

We are currently hiring for positions across the North West of Ireland: Mayo, Galway, Sligo, Leitrim, Donegal. Candidates based in these areas or those looking to move west are preferred. The ideal candidate will have a background across wastewater or water projects.

You’ll Be Responsible For
  • Managing safe, high‑quality and compliant project delivery, championing wellbeing and an inclusive culture.
  • Overseeing end‑to‑end programme management, ensuring alignment with client vision and key milestones.
  • Managing budgets responsibly, driving ethical, sustainable outcomes and shaping long‑term strategic direction.
  • Developing and empowering teams, fostering collaboration, innovation and best‑practice excellence across stakeholders.
  • Managing end‑to‑end project delivery, ensuring timeframes, budgets and stakeholder expectations are met.
  • Driving collaboration across client, consultant and contractor teams, managing senior stakeholders and project governance.
  • Providing strategic expertise, continuous improvement and leadership to teams, aligning delivery with Mace’s strategic priorities.
You’ll Need To Have
  • Background in wastewater, water or civil infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to obtain security clearance within the client’s organisation.
  • Experience delivering projects in a live, sensitive environment.
  • Experience delivering projects in listed buildings.
  • Skilled communicator and negotiator, effective with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Collaborative, organised and able to train others while managing processes independently.
