AECOM in Ireland and the U.K. seeks an Associate Director – Civil Engineering to lead our established civil team.

This senior role combines technical leadership, project delivery, business development, and mentorship. You will guide development infrastructure projects for public and private clients, build long-term client relationships, and ensure high-quality, buildable designs across drainage, highways, flood risk and water networks.

Qualifications

• Chartered Civil Engineer (or equivalent) with experience in a senior or leadership role.
• Strong background delivering development infrastructure projects for public and private sector clients.
• Enjoy building teams, supporting junior engineers, and taking ownership of work.

AECOM is seeking an Associate Director – Civil Engineeringto help lead our established and high-performing team. This is a senior role combining technical leadership, project delivery, business development, and team growth.

Our team provides civil engineering services across Ireland and the U.K., supporting developers, housebuilders, local authorities, and major clients. We work across the full project lifecycle, from early feasibility and planning through to detailed design and construction, covering drainage, highways, flood risk, water infrastructure, and SuDS.

The team values practical engineering, collaboration, and mentoring, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality, buildable solutions.
