Job summary

Global Professional Consultants in Naas seeks an Associate Director – Civil Engineering to lead major civil infrastructure projects with focus on active travel, road upgrades and linear infrastructure. This is a leadership role to build and grow a team while delivering high-quality design and project outcomes.

You will mentor engineers, manage client relationships and identify new business opportunities, driving the growth of the infrastructure division in a dynamic, hybrid-working environment.

Qualifications

• Level 8/Level 9 Civil Engineering degree.
• Strong technical background in active travel, road/highway upgrades, or linear infrastructure.
• Experience managing projects, budgets, programmes and client relationships.
• Experience leading, mentoring or developing engineering teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and ability to identify opportunities for business growth.
• Chartered Engineer status, or working towards chartership would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects from feasibility through to detailed design and construction.
• Develop and grow a team of civil engineers, providing technical leadership, mentoring and career development.

Associate Director – Civil Engineering
Naas

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Associate Director – Civil Engineering to join a well-established engineering consultancy in Naas. The successful candidate will play a key role in the delivery of major civil infrastructure projects, with a particular focus on active travel, road and highway upgrades, and linear infrastructure projects.

This role offers an excellent opportunity for an ambitious senior professional to take on a leadership position, develop client relationships and build and grow a team within an expanding infrastructure division. The successful Associate Director will combine strong technical expertise with project management, commercial awareness and the ability to lead and mentor a growing team of engineers.

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, design and delivery of civil infrastructure projects from feasibility through to detailed design and construction.

Requirements

• Level 8 or Level 9 degree in Civil Engineering.
• Strong technical background in active travel, road and highway upgrades, or linear infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience managing projects, budgets, programmes and client relationships.
• Previous experience leading, mentoring or developing engineering teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to identify opportunities for business growth.
• Chartered Engineer status, or working towards chartership, would be advantageous.
