Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient examinations and provide diagnoses and treatments.

• Collaborate with dental nurses, hygienists and front-of-house staff to maintain smooth scheduling and patient flow.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and adhere to health, safety and infection-control standards.
• Engage in CPD and stay up-to-date with modern dental techniques.
• Ensure registration with the Irish Dental Council is maintained.

• Clinical Care: Conduct thorough patient examinations, diagnoses, and high-quality restorative, preventive, and cosmetic treatments.
• Treatment Planning: Develop clear, honest, and comprehensive treatment plans, discussing options thoroughly with patients.
• Patient Communication: Build strong, long-term relationships and ease patient anxieties through empathetic, transparent care.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with dental nurses, hygienists, and front-of-house staff to ensure smooth daily scheduling and patient flow.
• Compliance & Records: Maintain accurate, contemporaneous clinical records and adhere strictly to local health, safety, and infection control standards.
• Professional Development: Engage in ongoing continuous professional development (CPD) and keep up to date with modern dental techniques.
• Registration: Full national registration with the Irish dental council.
• Experience: Proven experience practicing general dentistry in a private or mixed practice setting.
• Clinical Skills: Competency across routine restorative work, endodontics, fixed/removable prosthodontics, and minor oral surgery.
• Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and bedside manner with fluent English.
• Ethics: A strong commitment to ethical, patient-centered dentistry rather than high-pressure sales targets.

Pay: €50,500.00-€211,000.00 per year
