Job summary

JD Sports Fashion in Ireland seeks an Assistant Store Manager to drive store success and deliver exceptional customer experiences. You will lead from the front, develop your team, and support the Store Manager to reach ambitious sales targets and operational excellence.

Qualifications

Experience in a retail management or supervisory role.
Strong leadership and people-management abilities.
Ability to interpret KPI and sales data for commercial decisions.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for customer and team interactions.
Experience contributing to KPI achievement in a retail environment.

Responsibilities

Support the Store Manager with daily store operations to help achieve sales targets and core KPIs.
Lead and guide colleagues on the shop floor, allocating tasks and maintaining standards.
Assist with coaching and development, providing real-time feedback and reinforcing expectations.
Maintain high presentation and operational standards, including pricing accuracy and safety.
Perform core duties such as till checks, stock audits, and opening/closing routines.
