Job summary

JDA WMS PTE. LTD. in Ireland seeks a capable professional to lead QA/H&S support, operations and finance activities across construction projects. You will manage resources, co-ordinate design, attend meetings, and ensure timely cost reporting to keep projects on track.

Responsibilities include sign-off of design drawings for tenders, ensuring QA/H&S compliance, and supporting business development with tender responses and client interviews when required. A strong team mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Project & Facilities Management or related field.
• At least 5 years' experience in construction/building sectors.
• Experience with a main contractor (A1) is a plus.
• QS or Architecture background is acceptable.

Responsibilities

• Quality Assurance / Health & Safety support, ensuring compliance and following up on site quality inspection comments.
• Operations support by incorporating constructability inputs and ensuring timely design drawings.
• Finance support including prompt payment of claims and cost report justifications.
• Business Development support: formulate technical responses to tenders and attend client interviews if required.
• Meetings: conduct and co-chair design and client/project update meetings.
• Project authority: sign off drawings and cost reports, review variations and handovers.
• Project responsibilities: review drawings for value engineering, verify proposals, ensure on-time cost reports and manage subcontractor relations.
• Other responsibilities: file management, progress reports, and process improvements.
