Job Description

Liffey Valley Pharmacy Limited is seeking a motivated Assistant Pharmacy Operations Manager to support the day-to-day non-clinical operational management of the pharmacy. The role focuses on operational efficiency, staff coordination, stock control, and compliance support in line with Irish regulatory and business requirements. This position does not require PSI registration and does not involve clinical decision-making or dispensing responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the daily operational running of the pharmacy
  • Assisting with staff coordination, rotas, and workflow planning
  • Supporting implementation and maintenance of SOPs and internal policies
  • Managing stock control, inventory records, and supplier coordination
  • Assisting with compliance documentation and audit preparation
  • Monitoring health & safety procedures and operational standards
  • Preparing operational reports and supporting business performance tracking
  • Coordinating training schedules and operational support for staff

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1–2 years’ experience in pharmacy operations, healthcare operations, or retail operations
  • Strong organizational and coordination skills
  • Familiarity with compliance procedures in a regulated environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office and retail/pharmacy IT systems
  • Qualification in healthcare administration, business, or management is desirable
