Job summary

RecruitNet International Ltd recruits an Assistant Director of Nursing for a leading Nursing home in Kildare, Ireland. You will provide professional leadership and oversight to maintain high levels of care, and serve as a role model for nursing home personnel.

The role requires an NMBI registered nurse with managerial experience in elder care, and a solid understanding of HIQA standards. Strong leadership, organisation and communication skills are essential; on-site work with benefits including

Qualifications

NMBI-registered nurse with managerial experience in elder care.
Management qualification in health or related sector preferred.
Strong knowledge of HIQA standards and governance.
Proven track record in nursing home management.
Excellent leadership, organisation and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

Provide professional leadership and oversight to maintain high care levels.
Lead clinical and professional teams; serve as role model for nursing home staff.
Line management and development for clinical nursing teams and care staff.
Support care delivery by engaging patients and staff with clinical supervision.
Act in place of the Director of Nursing when necessary.
Collaborate with Director of Nursing and Management on service needs and strategy.
Ensure efficient and appropriate use of resources.
