Job summary

NAPA Auto Parts UK & Ireland is seeking an Area Manager to lead day-to-day operations across multiple branches in Ireland. You will evaluate staff performance, coach teams, grow customer relations, and partner with the Regional Sales Manager to meet targets.

Reporting to the Divisional Manager, you will ensure stock control, drive telesales, manage branch audits, oversee holidays, and uphold health and safety and company procedures while delivering excellent service.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership of multi-branch teams.
• Strong commercial awareness and a track record of growth.
• Experience in customer relations and service delivery.
• Experience coaching and developing branch staff.
• Solid ability to analyse and report performance data.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day operation of branches within the area.
• Evaluate employee performance and coach as required.
• Develop strong customer relations and meet targets with Regional Sales Manager.
• Interact with customers regularly to ensure satisfaction.
• Lead daily catch-ups with area management.
• Brief Branch Managers on goals, promotions, and information.
• Ensure stock control and audits are completed.
• Manage stock efficiently, including returns.
• Drive telesales performance across the area.
• Ensure service levels for parts deliveries are met.
• Resolve customer problems promptly.
• Plan and approve staff holidays per policy.
• Maintain health & safety compliance.
• Oversee cash handling and adherence to procedures.
• Assist credit control with aged debt.
• Collaborate with other areas and drive promotional activities.

An opportunity to be a part of our journey and share in our success as we continue to establish ourselves as a market leader in Ireland, Europe and worldwide.This role will report directly to the Divisional Manager.Responsibilities will include but not limited to:Day-to-day operation of the branches within your area.Evaluating employee performance and providing feedback and coaching as required.Developing customer relations within area, communicating with Regional Sales Manager to meet targets.Interacting with customers on a regular basis via telephone or when visiting the branch to ensure satisfaction and gain useful feedback.Regular interaction and holding short daily catch up sessions with all area management.Briefing Branch Managers and other employees on current sales goals, promotions, and other relevant informationEnsuring Branch stock control and audits are completed and to schedules set.Efficient management of stock, to include goods in, supplier and customer returns in all branches.Monitoring and driving telesales efficiency within your area.Ensuring service levels with parts deliveries are to a satisfactory standard in all branches.Resolving customer problems as needed.Ensure the planning and authorising staff holidays are as per company policy within all branches.Reporting and dealing with staffing issues. (all disciplinary issues to be dealt with via HR department)Complying with all health & safety requirements.Ensuring all branches complete daily van checks and resolving defects reported.All Branches efficiently manage and handle cash and adhere to relevant procedures.Active in assisting credit control with customer debt.
