Job description

TOBIN is seeking an Architectural Technologist to join our Water & Utilities division. This is a full-time position availablein Castlebar, Limerick, or Galway, and we welcome applications from both experienced professionals and recent graduates.

About the Role

You will work on diverse projects and develop your skills through mentoring from senior team members.

Qualifications Required

• MinimumNCEA Certificate in Civil Engineering, Construction Studies, or an equivalent qualification relevant to the role.

Key Responsibilities

• Drafting using software including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, REVIT, ArcGIS, and SketchUp
• Conducting topographical surveys using calibrated instruments such as GPS units and Total Stations
• Checking drawings for accuracy and compliance with standardsCollaborating with clients and the design team to deliver high-quality projects
• Maintaining disciplined record-keeping of drawings and files
• Assisting engineers and technicians with detailing and sketching
• Following instructions from your Line Manager and, where appropriate, Project Managers and senior team members
