Job summary

State Street is seeking a seasoned Cyber Security Architect to lead Application Security, ADR, and DevSecOps initiatives. You will define ADR strategy, integrate runtime monitoring, and collaborate with engineering, security operations, and cloud teams to operationalize protections across enterprise applications.

The role emphasizes threat detection, incident response, and continuous improvement of monitoring, detection logic, and workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in IT or CS with 6 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in software development and secure SDLC.
• Experience with application security tooling and modern CI/CD, DevSecOps.
• Experience partnering with Dev community to influence security practices.
• Security+ or other cybersecurity certification.

Responsibilities

• Define and build the ADR strategy, integrating runtime security monitoring into AppSec and DevSecOps.
• Partner with Engineering, Security Operations, Cloud Security, and App Development to operationalize ADR.
• Lead deployment, onboarding, and support of ADR platforms and integrations.
• Monitor, analyze, and investigate application‑layer security events and attack patterns.
• Triage, prioritize, and remediate security findings with application teams.
• Develop use cases, detection logic, alerts, and response workflows.
• Integrate ADR platforms with incident response processes.
• Deliver security reporting, dashboards, and executive summaries on threats and remediation.
• Maintain ADR/AppSec/DevSecOps documentation and procedures.
• Support audits with evidence and process adherence.
• Improve monitoring, detection accuracy, and response effectiveness.
• Provide technical leadership for strategic projects.
