Morgan McKinley is seeking an Analytical Sciences Specialist to join a regulated laboratory team focused on development, transfer, qualification, and lifecycle management of analytical methods for pipeline and commercial products.

The role emphasizes method transfers, validations, and continuous improvement across HPLC, biochemistry, and digital analytical technologies, with strong collaboration across Quality, Manufacturing, and Validation teams in a GMP setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related field.
• Advanced scientific qualifications are desirable but not essential.
• 2–3+ years of relevant experience in a GMP-regulated life sciences environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead or support analytical method transfers, validations, and compendial method verifications.
• Perform laboratory-based analytical testing, method assessments, and technical studies using a range of analytical techniques.
• Generate, review, interpret, and verify analytical data and associated technical documentation.
• Support the analytical procedure lifecycle, including method introduction, optimization, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
• Provide technical support for analytical method and laboratory equipment issues, including troubleshooting and root-cause assessment.
• Support equipment performance qualification (PQ) activities and associated documentation.
• Participate in laboratory investigations, deviations, CAPAs, and change controls.
• Contribute to technical assessments and rationale supporting analytical methods and laboratory activities.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality Control, Manufacturing, Validation, Technical Operations, and analytical science teams.
• Support the implementation and development of digital analytical methods and laboratory technologies.
• Ensure all activities are conducted in accordance with cGMP, data integrity, safety, and applicable regulatory requirements.

We are seeking an Analytical Sciences Specialist to join a dynamic laboratory team supporting the development, transfer, qualification, and lifecycle management of analytical methods for both pipeline and commercial products.

In this role, you will apply your expertise in analytical science to support method transfers, validations, laboratory investigations, product testing, equipment qualification, and continuous method improvement. You will work across a range of analytical technologies, with a particular focus on separations and biochemistry, while collaborating closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Validation, Technical Operations, and analytical science teams.

Key Responsibilities

Qualifications & Experience

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related scientific discipline.
• Advanced scientific qualifications are desirable but not essential.

Experience

• 2–3+ years of relevant experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, vaccine, or other regulated life sciences environment.
• Experience working within a GMP-regulated laboratory.
• Practical experience with analytical testing, data review, interpretation, and technical documentation.
• Experience with one or more of the following is advantageous:
• Analytical method validation
• Analytical method transfer
• Compendial testing and method verification
• Chromatography
• Electrophoresis
• ELISA
• Cell-based assays
• Analytical troubleshooting and investigations

Technical Skills

Experience with some of the following analytical technologies and systems is highly desirable:
