Job summary

MSD Ireland in Carlow seeks an Analytical Sciences Specialist to lead lifecycle management of site analytical procedures and to head method validation, transfers, and investigations. You will provide SME assessments for equipment changes and ensure robust technical rationales support site operations.

The role requires 3-5 years in pharma, strong transfer/validation experience, and excellent cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science or equivalent experience.
• 3-5 years relevant experience in the pharma industry.
• Strong experience in tech transfer/validation.
• Excellent communication skills to build strong cross functional relationships.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end lifecycle management of site analytical procedures.
• Lead new method introductions and technical transfers across site laboratories.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to optimize analytical performance.
• Provide expert troubleshooting for analytical methods and laboratory instrumentation.
• Author technical documentation to support investigations and regulatory responses.
• Develop and own change controls for new analytical methods.
• Train site analytical sciences personnel on lab systems, processes and methods.
