Job summary

The Mater Private Network in Ireland is seeking an Anaesthetic Registrar to join our consultant-led team with an immediate start. Based across our Dublin, Cork and associated facilities, you will assist in delivering a comprehensive anaesthetic service across theatres, ICU and wards.

You should hold Full Irish Medical Council Registration and have registrar-level experience in an acute hospital setting. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to provide safe, patient-centred care.

Qualifications

• Full Irish Medical Council Registration is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide anaesthetic care across operating theatres, ICU and wards.
• Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe, effective anaesthesia for a range of procedures.

This includes:

• Intensive Care Unit (ICU): Providing critical care support to ensure patient well-being.
• Operating Theatres: Collaborating with surgeons to deliver safe and effective anaesthesia for a wide range of procedures.
• Wards: Monitoring and managing patients' pain and other needs before, during, and after their surgical journeys.

Candidate Requirements

Current relevant Full Irish Medical Council Registration. Experience at Registrar level in an acute Hospital setting. Proven ability to work as an effective team member. Ability to communicate effectively.
